I'm so impressed to see this! I know it was a long haul to get here -- wow.
Louise,
The next time you see Michael, tell him, "If I survive sergery and rehab, he has himself a new client."
Moreover, would you also tell Ben that I miss him, but happy to see he's kicking a little ass!!!
I also just had a thought, "Maybe, Michael knows a good therapist that would be willing to get to know and work with Ben? Between the two of them, I'm hoping that Ben will never again step into a hospital, except, maybe, to see me, as I'm going to need the two two of you more than you know. Anyhow, I talked to my sister, Toula, about the workings of ODSP, and you guys will be able to afford care, when the need arises.

P.S. I miss you too!
wow boy can he keep up that's great.
Hi,
My name is Chantal Wiebe and I am a psychologist in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I am searching blogs for parents of exceptional children to learn about their stories. I am writing a book about the challenges and joys of parenting, especially from a mom's perspective, and would like to invite any of your members to send me their story about their child to info@momphenom.org.
I also have a 10 question survey that is directed to parents of exceptional children.

Go Ben Go!
I am inspired by Ben to get my butt back to the gym!
Awesome!!
awesome!
Lisa
Thanks everyone!
Unfortunately the personal training sessions end soon and then it will be up to D and I -- or our workers -- to put Ben through his paces.
But Michael has developed such a specific program from Ben I think it will be hard for us to replicate.
Yesterday morning there was a boxer in that same room where Ben did his personal training. And the boxer cheered Ben on.
Of course we'll visit you in the hospital Matt!
Louise - I don't know the ins and outs as to why the personal training sessions have to end but if they do is there a way to extend them slightly so that Michael can observe and make hands on "tweaks" as your family and support workers learn the ropes of guiding Ben through his work out?
I can't imagine how amazing that is for Ben to be hanging out with strong men who are showing him they believe he can do it (and YAY to the boxer that cheered him on)
