Born to be different

I participated in a TVO panel discussion about parenting children with special needs that's been uploaded to YouTube. It followed the airing of a British documentary called Born to be Different, which follows six families of children born with a variety of disabilities. I was surprised that my voice sometimes still cracked when I spoke about the birth of my son Ben, above, 15 years ago!

Louise, Terry just watched "Born to be Different" last night on television! I'll look up the YouTube clip.

Louise, I just watched the TVO panel discussion and it was very good. You were so articulate and passionate, and I was taken back to that first year with Gabriel! There was good information for new parents and I think that in itself is very important. I hope you don't mind but I put the YouTube link on my blog.
